I have experienced people becoming bored because they are hearing the same scriptures being quoted to them when they are being taught. However, these people don't get bored when they eat the same food they like, recite the same words that are a part of Jewish or church liturgy and listen to the same lyrics of their favorite music.Why does God state the following if Bible study is only fascinating if we are only learning something new?
"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me," (Isaiah 46:9 KJV)
"Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee." (Deuteronomy 32:7 KJV)
"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night." (Psalm 1:1-2 KJV)
"The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb." (Psalm 19:9-10 KJV)
"How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" (Psalm 119:103)
